Juan Carlos Jobet is Chile’s former Minister of Energy and Mining (2020 – 2022). During his service, he led Chile’s energy transition and carbon neutrality plan and developed Chile’s first comprehensive mining policy, with a vision of sustainable, competitive and green mining. Furthermore, he was Chair of the Clean Energy Ministerial and Mission Innovation and Co-Chair of the Carbon Pricing Leadership Coalition. He is currently Dean of the School of Business & Economics at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.
